FRV gets prelim enviro licence for 300-MW solar project in Brazil

- Madrid-based clean energy developer Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) said on Wednesday that it has actually been given a preliminary ecological licence for the growth of a 300-MWac/327-MWp solar park project in Brazil.
The company intends to construct the Complexo Fotovoltaico Banabuiu solar farm in the state of Ceara, northeastern Brazil, in an area spanning 648 hectares (1,601 acres). The plant is anticipated to be efficient in generating regarding 745 GWh per year, which would be enough to power up to around 407,900 homes in the area.
