French JV to create 200MWp PV portfolio

French photovoltaic energy producer Photosol is forming a joint platform with designer Aedes Energies to co-develop a solar project portfolio with a capacity of greater than 200MWp in tje Nouvelle Aquitaine and also Occitanie areas.

The Aedes-Photosol Développement JV permits both companies to merge their expertise to establish the portfolio, the first projects of which must be commissioned in 2024.

Aedes Energies will be accountable for the advancement of the projects, including obtaining the management authorisations necessary for the construction as well as procedure of the power plants, while Photosol will look after the projects technological and monetary optimization and link.

Founded in 2008, Photosol is experts in big photovoltaic installations either on the ground or in color residences of more than 3ha.

A leading gamer in the French renewables sector, they use 100+ professionals as well as have among the largest portfolios in France in operation and also unfinished with an incorporated capacity of over 400MWp.

Their portfolios under advancement total 3GWp in France and go beyond 8GWp in the USA.

Structured around a multidisciplinary team spread over 3 sites in France, Aedes Energies has a portfolio of ground power plant projects of 800+MWp under advancement.
