French airport to include 20 MWp of solar with Neoen's help
- The Lyon-Saint-Exupery airport in France will certainly be equipped with a 20-MWp shaded solar plant by following summer under a project granted to Neoen SA (EPA: NEOEN) as well as its companions that lately became one of the champions in a government tender.

The solar (PV) farm, to be among the largest shaded nuclear power plant in France, will certainly feed around 24 GWh of electrical power into the grid yearly, airport operator Vinci Airports claimed on Tuesday. Under the project, which has been removed by the French Energy Regulation Commission, the installment will certainly cover 14 acres (5.7 ha) across 5,800 parking spaces at the airport. The plant will be created, built, funded and operated by French renewable power manufacturer Neoen as well as Vinci Concessions' solar unit SunMind until 2047.

Recently, the project was granted in the 4th round of tenders for roof commercial and also commercial (C&I) solar capacity under the French government's PPE2 multi-year energy procurement programme.
