Australian-German clothing Frazer Solar has authorized a binding agreement with the Federal government of Eswatini (Swaziland) for a 100MW solar panel project, which will certainly be the largest project of its kind in Africa.

The EUR100m Mega Solar-Storage project will be located at the Edwaleni power plant in Matsapha, Eswatini, with 100MW of initial capacity.

It will supply energy to countries within the Southern African Development Community (SADC) area.

The project will certainly include 75,000 photovoltaic panels covering 45 hectares on an overall 54 hectare website.
