Flexrack by Qcells has provided its solar mounting systems for a 182-MW portfolio of solar projects in Canada. The projects include a 101-MW Saddlebrook and 81-MW Scotford, the largest behind-the-meter solar project in the country. The Scotford project is owned by a global oil producer and will power a refinery, while the Saddlebrook project has been funded by Emissions Reduction Alberta. Engineering, procurement and construction company Alltrade Industrial Contractors Inc. selected Flexrack for its experience in the cold climate and timely engineering expertise. Both projects are expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2023.
