Exus Renewables North America has secured USD 308.2 million in financing for its renewable energy projects in the U.S., comprising a 185-MW solar portfolio in New Mexico and a 169-MW wind portfolio in Pennsylvania. The solar portfolio, which includes nine operational farms, received USD 149.6 million and is supported by long-term power purchase agreements with local utilities. ING Capital and PNC Capital Markets LLC led the financing, finalized in May.
The wind portfolio, featuring the 139-MW Twin Ridges and 30-MW Patton projects, obtained USD 158.6 million. KeyBanc Capital Markets coordinated the financing, with Credit Agricole and Societe Generale as joint lead arrangers. The funds will aid in the 2024 repowering of Twin Ridges, with Vitol as the primary offtake counterparty. Exus continues to expand its renewable operations across Europe, North America, and Latin America.
