Eurowind, Edora Launch Green Data Centers in Denmark

Danish renewables developer Eurowind Energy A/S and local IT company Edora plan to build decentralized data centers within a hybrid energy park in Jutland, Denmark. The centers will be powered by wind, solar, and battery storage, aiming to reduce energy loss and costs by situating them where electricity is generated. The first data center will feature three 3.6 MW wind turbines, 8 MW of solar panels, and a 10.8-MW/43.2-MWh battery system, supporting Enterprise AI, Edora Cloud, and Managed IT services, and will be open to other operators.
Aalborg University is collaborating on the project to provide algorithms for optimizing energy use between data centers.
