E.ON Energie Romania builds 351 kWp PV plant for Agricola International Bacau

  • E.ON Energie Romania, a device of German power utility E.ON, stated on Monday that it has developed a 351.75 kilowatts height (kWp) solar power plant well worth over 320,000 euro ($378,239) for regional chicken producer Agricola International Bacau.

The photovoltaic or pv (PV) plant is expected to produce 470.36 MWh of electrical power per year, E.ON Energie Romania said in a news release.

The solar plant including 1,050 photovoltaic panels installed on the ground at Agricola's 4 Lilieci Farm in Bacau will certainly fulfill around 25% of the farm's annual energy needs and will certainly aid reduce CO2 exhausts by 134 tonnes each year.

"Agricola International aims to raise the share of power from sustainable resources in its last energy usage in the coming years, through the growth as well as execution of other solar power generation facilities at its poultry facilities," Agricola Bacau basic supervisor Grigore Horoi stated.

Developed in 1992, Agricola International Bacau is part of regional agriculture holding team Agricola Bacau.
