UK clean energy services company Enviromena has secured GBP 65 million in a funding round from Arjun Infrastructure Partners, as well as a debt and construction facility. The proceeds are meant to help the company acquire fully-consented, shovel-ready solar projects and expand its solar portfolio at home to over 500 MW by 2025. Enviromena has already installed 120 solar parks and has a pipeline of over 400 MW due to enter planning in the next six to nine months. In addition, it is managing 230 MWp of assets for third parties and delivering O&M services for 500 MWp. CFO Chris Marsh notes the funding will help the company build out its extensive pipeline and expand its portfolio more quickly.
