Energiekontor has actually received a positive notice via a supposed Planning Deviation Procedure for a fourth solar project in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany.

The 45MW solar project will be situated in the city of Marlow.

Energiekontor has currently received a positive notice for 3 solar park projects in the region with a generation capacity of around 130MW in mid-October 2022.

This brings the total generation capacity of all four projects to around 175MW.

Building and construction of the projects is set up to start in 2023 and also commissioning is prepared for the end of 2024.

"We delight in that, as leaders of the energy transition, we are currently also among the very first business in Germany to become aware four large-scale solar park projects via the so-called planning deviation procedure," claimed Peter Szabo, CEO of Energiekontor.

"The start has actually been made, now we wish to conserve time and effort from positive knowing results on both sides in future planning deviation procedures to be able to realize future projects a lot more promptly.

"We have already begun with the additional realisation of the 4 existing solar park projects.

"We want them to be fully functional as soon as possible so that they can then actively contribute to the power shift," Szabo included.

The solar parks will provide the district of Dettmannsdorf and the town of Marlow with a total annual six-figure share of the yield via the metropolitan involvement controlled in the EEG.

These funds are directly available to the communities' budget plans.
