Enel Green Power secures giving in for 116 MW of solar in Peru

- Italian renewables company Enel Green Power has been granted a clear-cut concession to construct a 116.45-MW solar farm in Peru, the Peruvian ministry of energy and mines introduced.

The project, referred to as the Clemesi Solar Terminal, will certainly bring a financial investment exceeding USD 95.3 million (EUR 81.3 m). The designer, with regional device Enel Green Power Peru SAC, will built the plant in the area of Moquequa in the namesake department.
Industrial procedures result from begin 25 months from the day of the signing of the concession agreement, the ministry claimed.
When Clemesi starts production, it will be become one of the largest solar farms in Peru, according to the ministry's announcement.
