The financing will support the construction of a 98-MW photovoltaic park with a 20-MW/40-MWh battery energy storage system, generating approximately 210 GWh of electricity annually.
The Quorn Park hybrid park, located near Parkes in New South Wales, is a joint development with Renewable Energy Developments Pty Ltd. Enel Green Power acquired the project in late 2022 and has received development approvals from the New South Wales government. Construction is set to begin in the third quarter of this year, with full operation expected by 2026. The site will have a single connection point to the grid under Generator Performance Standards.
