Endesa to provide renewable power to Hoteles Santos

- Spanish utility Endesa SA (BME: ELE) claimed on Monday that it has actually signed a ten-year contract to provide 100% renewable power to resort chain Hoteles Santos and all of its establishments in Spain.

The agreement includes a power purchase agreement (PPA), whereby the Spanish hotel team will certainly procure solar energy from a portfolio of facilities coming from Endesa's renewables subsidiary Enel Green Power Espana.
This portion of the agreement will certainly allow Hoteles Santos to cover 30% of its need for electrical energy. For the staying 70%, Endesa will provide power from a mix of renewables certified with guarantees of origin, the utility claimed.
