Endesa gets enviro approval for 109 MW of solar projects in Spain

- Spanish utility Endesa SA claimed on Thursday that it has actually secured the environmental approval to mount 3 solar farms completing 109 MW in Spain's southerly region of Andalusia.

The licences will certainly make it possible for the company's renewables department Enel Green Power Espana to develop the Campos de Al-Andalus I, II and III solar plants in Huelva province. Endesa claimed that the projects will require an investment of EUR 73 million (USD 79.5 m).
Endesa, via Enel Green Power Espana, runs 11 solar farms in Andalusia and also a total of 45 in the entire of Spain. Its overall mounted solar energy capacity in the nation stands at 1,663 MW.
