Endesa gets enviro permit for 250-MW solar project in southern Spain

- Spanish electric utility Endesa SA (BME: ELE) has actually obtained an ecological permit for a 250-MW solar PV project in Almeria province, southerly Spain, the business stated on Wednesday.
Investment in the project, called Andrea, is approximated at EUR 106 million (USD 110.1 m). The advancement is the work of Endesa's renewables division Enel Green Power Espana (EGPE).
Andrea is Endesa's very first solar project in the Andalusian province. In other places is Andalusia, EGPE runs 348 MW of renewable energy capacity across hydro, wind, solar and biomass-based power plants.
