Encavis plugs in 24 MWp of Dutch solar parks

  • German solar and wind farm driver Encavis AG (ETR: ECV) has attached 2 solar parks with a consolidated output of 24 MWp to the grid in the Netherlands.

The Hijken as well as Schaapsdijk projects were part of a package of 5 solar parks in the Netherlands with an overall capacity of 74 MWp that Encavis purchased from Norwegian renewables firm Statkraft A/S in November. The various other three farms with a combined outcome of 50 MWp have been in operation considering that last year.

All 5 parks will obtain aids under the Dutch system SDE+ for a duration of 15 years.

Statkraft, which established and constructed the centers, offers procedure and upkeep (O&M) as well as lasting possession management solutions for the assets.

With the purchase, Encavis increased its generation capacity in the Netherlands to 180 MWp. The Hamburg-based group appointed 848 MW of green power plants in total last year and seeks to increase its current capacity of 3.1 GW to greater than 3.4 GW.
