Elecnor structure 40 MW of solar farms for AES Panama

- Spanish building and construction group Elecnor SA (BME: ENO) is in Panama now where it is constructing 40 MW of solar farms, it said Thursday.

The firm is working under a EUR-27-million (USD 30.3 m) contract for AES Panama, a subsidiary people electrical utility giant AES Corp (NYSE: AES).
The EPC agreement encompasses work with 4 solar projects-- Pese, Mayorca, Cedro and also Caoba. All four plants will certainly be geared up with bifacial components, a novelty on the Panamanian solar market, according to Elecnor.
2 of the 4 projects have currently been settled. The rest of the jobs will be completed by the end of 2022.
AES Panama has passions in 1,141 MW of mainly renewable resource ability in the Central American nation.
