EEW unloads Swedish solar scheme
- Project in south of nation targeted to commence procedures in 2024

Renewables developer EEW has offered a 42MW (dc) solar project in Sweden to an undisclosed Swedish solar and wind designer.
The project, located in the south of the nation, is targeted to reach ready-to-build standing in 2023 and commence procedures in 2024.
CEO of EEW Svante Kumlin stated: "This is EEW's first project sale in Sweden; we currently have a pipeline of solar and BESS projects over of 1GW in Sweden, most of which are in a sophisticated phase of advancement.
" We're proud to be sustaining Sweden's energy diversification and also net zero strategy."
Svensk Solenergi, Sweden's solar energy trade association, taped that newly set up grid-connected solar power in 2022 totaled up to practically 1GW, a doubling from the year before (503.4 MW).
Nonetheless, today, solar accounts for 1% of Sweden's total energy mix. The Swedish Energy Agency forecasts that the nation's solar output is readied to triple over the following two years to 3 terawatt hrs.
