EDPR protects 200MW Californian solar PPA

EDP Renováveis (EDPR) has secured a lasting PPA to sell the clean energy created by a 200 MWac solar capacity for a project in the United States.

The project in the state of California, and apart from the 200MWac of solar modern technology the project also has 150MW of storage space.

It is expected to be functional in 2024.

With this new project, EDPR has currently 10.8 GW protected out of the 20GW target additions for 2021-25 introduced in EDPR Capital Markets Day in February 2021.
