- Eaton and Endurant Energy team up to bring over 150 MWh of battery energy storage systems to NYC, supporting buildings and the grid during peak demand.
Eaton has partnered with Endurant Energy to deploy over 150 MWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS) in New York City. The project includes 10 BESS projects across the Bronx and Staten Island boroughs, valued at more than USD 7 million.
The BESS facilities will support buildings and the grid during peak demand hours, with Eaton providing design assistance, power system studies, and equipment such as switchgear, switchboards, and transformers. Endurant Energy is a distributed energy infrastructure developer focused on providing engineering, procurement, construction, and operations and maintenance services for various energy technologies including geothermal, CHP, fuel cell, solar, and storage.
