DTEK Renewables have successfully restored the Niko Solar power plant in the Mykolaiv region of Ukraine. 90% of the generating equipment of the plant was damaged by Russian shelling, but the company had acquired experience from restoring their own solar projects and was able to fix the plant. A few months before, they had also managed to restore the Trifonivskaya solar plant in a few weeks and repair it to 100% capacity. Oleksandr Selishchev, chief executive of DTEK Renewables, said they are also ready to help other companies to ensure energy supply and security for the people in the region.
