Doral Renewables has obtained the 150MW Brenneman solar farm in the United States state of Georgia from Avangrid for an undisclosed price.

The project is located in Macon County in the Southeastern Electric Reliability Council (SERC) energy market, one of the fastest growing areas in the United States in regards to solar energy generation potential.

It has secured practically 1600 acres under long-term leases with local landowners as well as has actually a signed interconnection arrangement with Georgia Power.
