Cubico Sustainable Investments has commissioned the 135-MWdc Delta's Edge solar farm in Mississippi, generating enough electricity to power more than 14,000 homes and businesses in the state. It is connected to the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) and will operate under a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Mississippi-based utility Cooperative Energy. With Delta's Edge, Cubico has raised its operational renewables capacity in North America to over 1.4 GW, with a further 270 MW of clean energy projects under construction and around 1 GW of projects in development in the US.
