The tender winner will have to set up PV systems with capacity of 1-500 kilowatt-peak for any interested customer, except government connections, in Chhattisgarh according to rate contract program.

The developer will be responsible for designing, supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of the plants. This will include five-year comprehensive warranties for the entire installation, twenty-year service agreement for photovoltaic modules, and five-year comprehensive maintenance contract.

The bids are to be backed with a nonrefundable tender fee of 29.5 thousand rupees (goods and services tax of 18% included), and earnest money payment of 200 thousand rupees.

Rates bidden for 1-10 kilowatt-peak installations can be higher than those for 10-100 and 100-500 kilowatt-peak systems.

The bids are to be submitted no later than the 14th of February. The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Feb 4.

The validity of the vendor’s rate agreement will last for a year after the vendor is empaneled.

The annual capacity utilization factor of at least 15% should be maintained for the installation during a 25-year period.
