Croatian real estate company Projekt Oporovecka has revealed plans for an 80-MW/96-MWp solar photovoltaic park in eastern Croatia. The project will be located in the village of Gornji Caglic, near the town of Lipik in Pozega-Slavonia County, covering a 218.5-hectare site.

The solar park will consist of 143,927 PV modules and 18 Siemens Gamesa inverters, with an estimated annual electricity generation of 144,808 MWh. This will help offset between 21,720 to 26,210 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year. The company has conducted an environmental impact assessment, concluding that the project will not harm air quality and will have minimal impact on the region's geodiversity. Additionally, environmental protection measures will be implemented to preserve existing vegetation.
