Colombia produced 89.26% of its electrical power from clean as well as sustainable sources in November, national grid operator XM Compania de Expertos en Mercados stated.

Renewables, which in Colombia additionally consists of large-size hydropower plants (HPPs) with reservoirs, produced 191.295 GWh per day usually in November, down by just 0.29% month-on-month.

In October, the clean power share got to 89.67%.

As XM kept in mind, Colombia has been appreciating more than average hydro inflows for ten successive months, which allowed it to keep its tanks 87.1% complete generally.
