CleanPeak Energy has begun construction on a 38-MW solar park in Victoria, Australia, which will supply electricity to the grid. The project, located near Wangaratta, is expected to generate 75 GW of clean electricity annually and is set to be operational by the end of this year. The company plans to use the output for its own consumption at four microgrids serving over 5000 customers.

The solar park will be connected to a 15-MWh battery energy storage facility, with plans to add an additional 65 MWh of storage in a second phase. CleanPeak Energy announced the start of construction with a sod-turning ceremony attended by company officials and government representatives.
