Chile's renewables grow share to 31.8% in Sept

  • Chile produced 2,077 GWh of its electricity with non-conventional renewable resource resources in September, or 40.9% more than in the exact same month in 2020, according to the most up to date figures launched by Chilean power compensation CNE.

In month-on-month terms, generation from renewables rose by 14.8%. This boost in output assisted renewables raise their share in the complete power manufacturing to 31.8% in September from 25.7% in August.

Gross generation by all major systems with each other got to 6,531 GWh, down by 7.3% month-on-month, however up 5.9% on the year.
