CESL & GEDA Partner to Electrify Remote Rural Households in Goa
- Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Energy Performance Services Limited (EESL), has authorized an agreement with Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA) for the installment of solar PV-based house lighting systems for remote families in the state, which do not have access to proper power supply till day.
Under the Agreement, CESL will certainly set up and also keep solar PV systems for 5 years under the Remote Village Electrification (RVE) programme of the Government of Goa. This project is the first off-grid electrical power project for CESL.
The agreement was authorized in between Shri Sanjeev Joglekar, Member-Secretary, GEDA as well as Shri Tarun Tayal, General Manager, CESL.
