The funding will allow the construction of five utility-scale solar plants, expected to produce over 480 GWh of green electricity annually. The projects will be supported by a 10-year power purchase agreement with an international technology company.
The financing was provided by a consortium of lenders including Banco Sabadell, Rabobank, and ING. Elmya and Metlen Energy & Metals will serve as EPC contractors, with solar panels supplied by Longi Green Technology Energy Co. The projects aim to power over 150,000 homes with renewable energy.
