Capital Dynamics, an independent global asset management firm, has acquired a 100% equity stake in two fully consented, construction-ready solar PV projects in Sicily, Italy. The projects, supported by long-term PPAs, are estimated to generate approximately 324GWh of clean energy per annum, equivalent to avoiding 87,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions and enough electricity to power over 63,500 homes. This will increase the firm’s gross annual generation capacity in Italy to ca. 1TWh, while investing €1.8m in local community support.
