California distributed energy firm to offer 15 MW of solar to CCAs
- California distributed energy provider Renewable America on Tuesday stated it will certainly supply over 15 MW of solar power along with 8 MWh of energy storage to four different community option aggregators (CCAs) in northern California.

The energy will originate from 5 projects that are now completely subscribed and also will certainly finish building by the third quarter of 2023 or the first quarter of 2024.
The agreement will certainly allow the CCAs to advance in the direction of their state-mandated Resource Adequacy (RA) programme in view of the California Independent System Operator's (CAISO) current industry constraints, Renewable America explained.
"This community-scale project gets on track to be finished in under 2 years, unlike larger utility-scale projects that can take years to develop," remarked Matthew Marshall, executive supervisor of Redwood Coast Energy Authority.
According to Renewable America president Ardi Arian, in California dispersed generation neighborhood solar projects are more important than ever before to guarantee energy resiliency while reducing environment adjustment.
