B&W gets 144MW of US solar contracts
- Agreements for two projects in the Midwest scheduled to be finished at the end of 2022
Babcock & Wilcox's B&W Renewable segment has been granted contracts for two utility-scale photovoltaic panel setup projects amounting to 144MW situated in the Midwest, USA.
The value of both agreements is greater than US$ 12m (EUR11.7 m).
The photovoltaic solar farms will certainly produce zero-carbon, zero-emissions power for more than 20,000 homes and businesses, B&W stated.
B&W exec vice head of state and chief running policeman Jimmy Morgan claimed: "The United States clean power revolution is under way, and we're excited to be part of these utility-scale solar projects.

Project planning remains in development and completion is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2022.
