Britvic Powers Up with Atrato Solar PPA

Soft drinks manufacturer Britvic has signed a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Atrato Onsite Energy (Atrato) for a 28MW solar farm in Northamptonshire, England. The electricity generated will be used to power 75% of Britvic's operations in Great Britain, and the investment security of the project will be provided by Britvic's agreement with Atrato. Atrato will supply Britvic with pay-as-you-go solar energy delivered on a baseload basis to meet the company's consumption needs. The project, which is expected to be commissioned in early 2024, is part of Atrato's portfolio of 40 solar sites built since its IPO 19 months ago. Additionally, Britvic has also secured a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) in Ireland, ensuring that Ballygowan water is produced using 100% renewable electricity generated from local wind energy.
