Brittlebush Solar Farm Powers Meta's Arizona Data Center

EDP Renewables North America (EDPR NA) and Meta have announced the unveiling of the 200MW Brittlebush Solar Park in Coolidge, Arizona. The solar farm will support Meta's data center in Mesa and is part of SRP's commitment to decarbonize its power generation portfolio. This project marks the third renewable energy partnership between EDPR NA and Meta, with additional capacity coming from two other SRP resources.

Brittlebush will contribute to Meta's goal of reaching 100% renewable energy and net zero emissions. The project will also benefit the local economy by providing millions of dollars in payments to local governments and creating jobs in construction and operations. EDPR NA CEO Sandhya Ganapathy highlighted Arizona's supportive policies for sustainable technologies and the positive impact of the partnership with SRP and Meta on reducing carbon emissions and diversifying the state's energy portfolio.
