With the permit, the Pajeu 1 photovoltaic or pv (PV) project can now issue debentures, according to the degree published by the ministry on Monday.

Situated in the northeastern Bahia state, the solar energy plant will contain 22 generation systems, each with a private capacity of 1 MW. Pajeu 1 is scheduled to commence procedures by March 2025.

Recently, the IPP's moms and dad company, French multi-energy group TotalEnergies SE (EPA: TTE), signed an arrangement to create a joint venture with Brazilian renewable resource developer Casa dos Ventos to create, develop and also operate 12 GW of wind and solar parks in the South American country.
