Bosnia's ERS in talks with Hungary's Lugos Renewables for Trebinje PV plant construction

- Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS), the power utility of Bosnia's Serb Republic, said it went over with Hungarian power firm Lugos Renewables the building of the 73 MW Trebinje 1 solar power plant.
ERS and also Lugos Renewables discussed the conditions for the building and construction and funding of the solar energy plant, ERS said in a statement last week, without giving more details.
ERS in October 2020 signed a 50-year giving in agreement with the energy ministry of the Serb Republic for the building as well as operation of the Trebinje 1 photovoltaic or pv (PV) plant, worth 100.75 million marka ($60.3 million/51.5 million euro).
The plant is expected to create some 100 GWh of power each year. It will spread on 120 hectares and also ought to be appointed in 2022.
