Blackfinch Energy signs EPC contract for initial subsidy-free growth
- Blackfinch Energy has granted Grupotec an EPC contract for its first subsidy-free growth, the Llwyndyrus solar farm.
Llwyndyrus, located in north Wales, currently had preparation consent, a grid link deal and also option to lease to set up a 6MW solar ranch at the site before Blackfinch's involvement. It obtained the project in July 2019 from Luminous Energy through its energy financial investment holding firm, Sedgwick Trading.
