BayWa r.e. opens up solar distribution organization in Malaysia

After opening one-stop solar devices shops in various other markets of the APAC region, BayWa r.e. will certainly now supply top-tier PV modules, placing systems, energy storage options and keeping track of administration systems to customers in Malaysia, it said.

"Our goal is to get to home owners and business in every edge of Malaysia, to minimize their power bills and also motivate the public to check out a carbon-free power remedy," commented Niranpal Singh, Managing Director at BayWa r.e. Malaysia.

BayWa, as a renewables developer, came to Malaysia in 2016 and discovered success in the country's solar power tenders a year later. The firm chose to open its solar distribution business there after the Malaysian Financial Investment Development Authority (MIDA) announced in 2021 its strategies to raise the share of renewables in mounted ability to 31% in 2025 and 40% in 2035, BayWa r.e. added.
