Bahrain looks for designer of 72-MW solar project
- The Kingdom of Bahrain, via its Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs, has introduced a competitive bidding procedure to choose a business or a consortium to install a minimum of 72 MW of solar power generating capacity across multiple premises in Sakhir.
The ministry revealed in a statement that it seeks to deploy solar (PV) panels on both rooftops and land, car park tones and electrical vehicle (EV) charging terminals for the Bahrain International Circuit, University of Bahrain, Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre and Al Dana Amphitheatre.
