Aquila gets in PPA for Spanish Greco solar project
- The five-year offer will supply power from the portfolio's very first center
Aquila European Renewables Income Fund (AERIF) has secured a power purchase contract for part of its Greco solar PV portfolio.
Situated in Andalucia, Spain, the 100MWp Greco project includes 2 solar PV facilities, Jaen as well as Guillena, each with a nominal capacity of 50MWp.
In sychronisation with AERIF's investment consultant, Aquila Capital Investmentgesellschaft's, Markets Management Group, the Jaen center has participated in a five-year pay-as-produced PPA with Statkraft Markets at an appealing rate, whilst hedging 70% of P50 manufacturing.
The pricing terms continue to be personal.
The business acquired a 100% passion in the Greco portfolio in March 2022.
The portfolio is currently unfinished, with Jaen anticipated to finish building and construction in between late 2022 as well as early 2023, whilst conclusion of Guillena is anticipated throughout the second quarter of 2023.
