Amp Energy India signs PPA tied to 600-MW floating solar park
- Independent power producer Amp Energy India has become part of an off-take agreement with Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Ltd (RUMSL) for a portion of a 600-MW floating solar plant in Madhya Pradesh.

The two parties have actually secured a power acquisition agreement (PPA) for 100 MW/140 MWp of capacity from that particular project on the Omkareshwar Reservoir.
RUMSL, which is a joint venture between Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd, has already determined space for the project and will seek to lease it from NHDC. The broader solar park will be delivered in 2 stages of 300 MW each and will certainly be sustained by a dealt with tariff for 25 years.
