Amber closes sale of 100MW US solar
- Flint Mine project in upstate New York has a 20-year arrangement for Renewable Energy Credits with NYSERDA
Amber Infrastructure, along with its development companion Hudson Energy Enterprises, has completed the sale of its ownership of a 100MW solar project in upstate New York.
Amber and Hudson partnered in 2017 to protected land and carry out allowing of the 100MW Flint Mine solar project in Greene County.
In 2018, the project was granted a 20-year agreement for Renewable Energy Credits by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority after a competitive purchase directly linked to applying the objectives of the New York Renewable Energy Standard.
Flint Mine was amongst the first utility scale solar projects to be certified under New York's thorough allowing process in 2021.
