Alter Enersun's La LUZ: Spain's Largest Solar Complex
- Alter Enersun shines bright with La LUZ solar complex in Spain, set to power the region with green energy. Exciting projects on the horizon!
Alter Enersun has completed the construction of a 262-MWp solar complex in Huelva, Spain, consisting of eight solar farms. The complex, named La LUZ, is awaiting the installation of a high-voltage line and substation before being connected to the grid. Once operational, the facility is expected to generate approximately 537 GWh of electricity per year, making it the company's most complex project to date.
In addition to the La LUZ complex, Alter Enersun is also developing the Puerto La Luz solar project in Huelva, which will have a capacity of up to 200 MW and will power a green hydrogen plant in the region. The company is partnering with Spanish oil-and-gas group Cepsa and renewable gases company Enagas Renovable to build infrastructure for the Andalusian Green Hydrogen Valley, including a 450-MW solar development and a 100-MW wind project.
