Alter Enersun, a Spanish solar energy developer, has commissioned two solar farms in the region of Extremadura, western Spain. The facilities have a combined capacity of 24 MWp, and a total investment of EUR 18.5 million. These two solar farms are expected to generate 47 GWh of electricity per year, enough to meet the consumption needs of over 13,000 households.
The company has dedicated a large part of its investments in Extremadura, where it still has more solar projects under construction. In the past two years, the company has commissioned three solar farms, to which the two newly commissioned solar farms have now been added.
