National Power Supply Public Co., Ltd (NPS) has chosen AFRY to provide owner’s engineering services for the expansion of its 90MW floating solar photovoltaic (PV) project, located in Prachinburi, eastern Thailand. AFRY will be responsible for preparing tender documents, proposal evaluation, contract negotiations, project management, design assessment, and overseeing of construction and commissioning activities. Petteri Härkki, Managing Director for Thailand at AFRY, expressed their honor in being chosen for the project which has the potential to reduce dependency on fossil fuels and accelerate the country’s energy transition. AFRY has extensive experience in the design and construction of over 65 power plants and more than 250 power sector-related projects in Thailand, and aims to contribute valuable expertise to the floating solar PV development.
