The proposed PV park will be located in the municipalities of Santa Maria the Longa and Pavia di Udine in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, near another solar plant owned by A2A.

This acquisition is part of A2A's strategy to expand its renewable energy fleet to 5.7 GW by 2035. The utility has committed to investing EUR 16 billion by the end of the decade for energy transition, with over EUR 4 billion earmarked for investments and acquisitions in the renewables sector.
