490 MW solar modules for UV Transmission Project tender awarded to JA Solar

• JA Solar will supply high-efficiency modules to the Huanghe Hydropower project. JA won the bid to supply the modules to the ultra-high project China based transmission project.

JA Solar has announced that it has won the tender to supply the modules to the Huanghe Hydropower plant in the Qinghai Province. Huanghe is a subsidiary of the biggest power investor in china- State Power Investment Corporation 

This is one of the world’s top UHV project with a capacity of 3.1 GW. It will allow JA Solar to apply new technologies and deploy renewable energy project with UHV

JA solar says that it will avail its half –cell, bifacial Cell, mono PERC 9BB modules to the project. This will allow for the production of 410 W with 40 % conversion efficiency. 

According to the chairman to the board of directors ( Jin Baofang), Huanghe is a large company it has 20 years of experience in developing and constructing photovoltaic power stations. The company has a good relationship with JA Solar. So cooperating with it in the project will be a great honor and will help the industry attain its goals. 

JA Solar will utilize 9BB technology to reduce resistance loss. Also, it will use the double glass structure for adaptability. Besides, the company will utilize the half-cell technology to improve its performance. Further, the company has said that it will deploy the doping technology in its operations. The technologies will enable it to optimize power generating performance.  Notice that JA solar advanced modules will play a vital role in reducing the system cost.
