Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners has signed an agreement for over 10 GWh of energy storage solutions from Contemporary Amperex Technology Co Ltd (CATL). The framework agreement covers five years and will involve the design, optimization and supply of the solutions, which will be used in Quinbrook's own infrastructure projects, as well as those of its portfolio companies across the US, the UK and Australia. The first deliveries will include CATL's EnerC Plus outdoor container solution, and the duo is assessing the first 1 GWh of deliveries for Australia and the UK. Quinbrook currently has over 20 GW of energy storage projects in the pipeline, and is already deploying CATL solutions at the Gemini solar-plus-storage complex near Las Vegas, Nevada.
