Semiconductor

What is Semiconductor?

A type of solid-state materials with electrical conductivity between nonconductors and conductors. Most semiconductors have crystalline structure. Semiconductor’s electrical properties are dependent on the material’s temperature. They can be modified by doping a pure semiconductor with donors or acceptors. Some semiconducting materials (such as silicon) are particularly suitable for PV conversion.
